Shiloh Hills Christian and Peachtree Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly Shiloh Hills Christian had to settle for second. They took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. That's two games in a row now that Shiloh Hills Christian has lost by exactly 13 points.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Destiny Blalock, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Keila Fernandes, who scored 21 points.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought match, but The Habersham School had to settle for a 40-37 defeat against Alleluia Community on Friday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for The Habersham School in their matchups with Alleluia Community: they've now lost three in a row.
Shiloh Hills Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for The Habersham School, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
