Soccer Recap: Northeast Guilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northeast Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Asheboro Blue Comets, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Asheboro this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 on October 7th.

Northeast Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Asheboro, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-5-3.

Northeast Guilford didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 loss against Eastern Guilford on the 27th. As for Asheboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Southern Guilford on the 27th.
