Soccer Recap: Argonaut Comes Up Short

Argonaut lost against Union Mine back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs lost 4-1 to the Diamondbacks. Argonaut have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Edison Nhek, who's now up to seven this season.

Argonaut's record now sits at 1-8. As for Union Mine, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Argonaut will take on Liberty Ranch in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Argonaut's defense better be ready for this one: Liberty Ranch have averaged an impressive 3 goals per game this season. Union Mine and Bradshaw Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
