Basketball Recap: Capuchino Comes Up Short

Capuchino suffered their biggest loss since January 6, 2024 on Friday. They lost 69-43 to the Sequoia Ravens. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Ravens from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Capuchino has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Sequoia, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.

Capuchino will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Aragon at 6:00 p.m. As for Sequoia, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sacred Heart Prep at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Sequoia knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Sacred Heart Prep likes a good challenge.
