Baseball Game Preview: Dexter Demons vs. Bosque Bobcats

The Dexter Demons will head out on the road to challenge the Bosque Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dexter hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Dexter lost 13-2 to New Mexico Military Institute on Thursday.

Dexter saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easton Mireles, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Bosque came up short against Ruidoso on Tuesday, falling 28-5. The Bobcats have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Bosque's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Dexter, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Dexter suffered a grim 12-6 defeat to Bosque when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Demons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
