Our Lady of Good Counsel kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell victim to a tough 14-0 defeat at the hands of the Bishop O'Connell Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Our Lady of Good Counsel of the 12-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
For Bishop O'Connell's part, Bri Lencz made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched.
