Soccer Game Preview: Appling County vs. Jeff Davis

The Appling County Pirates will take on the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Meanwhile, Jeff Davis put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Coffee get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. While the Yellowjackets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Jeff Davis pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four matchups. As for Appling County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
