Basketball Recap: Andover Takes a Loss

Andover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 72-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons. The Huskies were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Andover's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Robbinsdale Armstrong, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11.

Andover has already played their next contest (against Buffalo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Robbinsdale Armstrong will square off against Anoka at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anoka knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matches -- so hopefully Robbinsdale Armstrong likes a good challenge.
