Baseball Preview: Boonville Pirates vs. Harrisonville Wildcats
The Boonville Pirates will face off against the Harrisonville Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Boonville comes in on six and Harrisonville on three.
While Boonville's win against Osage wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pirates narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Indians 2-1. That's two games straight that the Pirates have won by just one run.
Nine must be Harrisonville's lucky number: they beat Lincoln College Prep with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Blue Tigers by a score of 9-5.
