Volleyball Game Preview: McArthur Mustangs vs. Plantation Colonels

The McArthur Mustangs will venture away from home to face off against the Plantation Colonels at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

McArthur came up short against South Broward on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Plantation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Fort Lauderdale.

While Plantation was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-21.

Plantation's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for McArthur, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

McArthur took their win against Plantation in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Colonels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
