Volleyball Game Preview: Chardon Hilltoppers vs. Berkshire Badgers

The Chardon Hilltoppers are taking a road trip to challenge the Berkshire Badgers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chardon took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin 3-0. The Hilltoppers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chardon took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-5, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Berkshire was able to grind out a solid win over Independence on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Badgers.

Berkshire's record now sits at 8-4. As for Chardon, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Chardon couldn't quite get it done against Berkshire in their previous matchup on April 1st as they fell 3-1. Can the Hilltoppers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
