Elbert County took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They took down Hart County 60-43. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Lincoln County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by Evans 71-33.

Elbert County's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Lincoln County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Elbert County against Lincoln County in their previous matchup back in December of 2017, as the team secured a 59-28 win. In that contest, the Blue Devils amassed a halftime lead of 44-2, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
