Basketball Game Preview: Scottsboro Wildcats vs. Albertville Aggies

Having just played yesterday, the Scottsboro Wildcats will jump right back in to play the Albertville Aggies at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Scottsboro has given up an average of 56.8 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Scottsboro took a blow against Guntersville, falling 84-41. The loss continues a trend for Scottsboro in their meetings with Guntersville: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Albertville entered their tilt with Grissom on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took down the Tigers 56-41.

Scottsboro's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Albertville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Scottsboro took their win against Albertville when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 86-64 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Aggies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
