Basketball Recap: Fort Vancouver Comes Up Short

Fort Vancouver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were dealt a 58-17 defeat at the hands of the Seton Catholic Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Trappers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while the Cougars are ranked 116th).

Fort Vancouver's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Seton Catholic, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Vancouver will venture away from home to face off against Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Vancouver is facing Stevenson at the right time seeing as Stevenson is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Seton Catholic, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Seton Catholic Cougars take on the La Center Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
