Elkhorn Valley can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Neligh-Oakdale Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Elkhorn Valley not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Neligh-Oakdale to exactly 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16.

Kayton Werner paced Elkhorn Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Werner got some help from Kyndal Werner and her 11 assists. Kyndal was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Elkhorn Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Tekamah-Herman on the 11th. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Hartington-Newcastle on the 11th.
