Softball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

Carmel lost against Cathedral back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Greyhounds fell 9-6 to the Fighting Irish. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jayden Kleiner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Winni Owens, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Cathedral, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 18-0.

Carmel has already played their next contest, a 6-4 loss against Mooresville on the 9th. As for Cathedral, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 19-1 win against Heritage Christian on the 9th.
