Crestwood lost to Blue Ridge back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Comets came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.

Crestwood was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-27, 25-10.

Crestwood's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Blue Ridge, their defeat ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestwood will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Greater Nanticoke Area at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Blue Ridge, they will venture away from home to take on Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
