Glenn has gone 8-2 against Washington Township recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the Senators at 11:00 a.m. Glenn is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, Glenn didn't have quite enough to beat Jimtown and fell 4-3.

Glenn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Tropp, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, while Washington Township put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Morgan Township. The Senators came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cherokees, sneaking past 2-0.

Not much got past Destin Billings, who gave up just five hits and racked up six Ks to keep Morgan Township off the board. Billings also tossed no walks, which is notable because Washington Township is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 2-3-1 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Hunter Lang, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

Washington Township has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Glenn, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Glenn took their win against Washington Township in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
