Basketball Recap: Madison County Comes Up Short

Madison County suffered their closest loss since January 9th on Friday. They fell just short of the Walnut Grove Warriors by a score of 47-44. The Red Raiders have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Madison County now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Walnut Grove, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Madison County and Stephens County will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walnut Grove, they will venture away from home to take on Cedar Shoals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
