Basketball Recap: Hulbert Takes a Loss

Hulbert lost against Summit Christian Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hulbert Riders took a blow against the Summit Christian Academy Eagles, falling 81-37. The game marked the Riders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hulbert's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Summit Christian Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Hulbert will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Haskell at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Porter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Summit Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Porter likes a good challenge.
