Santa Ana had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 16-15 W against the Costa Mesa Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-8 back in April.

Santa Ana's victory bumped their record up to 17-4-2. As for Costa Mesa, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

As of now, neither Santa Ana nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
