Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Comes Up Short

Oak Grove lost against Rayville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Oak Grove Tigers took a 69-55 bruising from the Rayville Hornets.

Oak Grove's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Rayville, they pushed their record up to 5-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Oak Grove will head out to take on Ouachita Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rayville, they will host Beekman Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rayville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Beekman Charter likes a good challenge.
