Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Garden). They breezed past the Sacred Heart Irish to the tune of 62-31 on Friday. The Griffins pushed the score to 48-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Irish had little chance of recovering from.

Garden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Quentin Walker, who went 9-for-17 on his way to 22 points and eight boards. Walker is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Xander Foreman was another key player, putting up 13 points along with seven boards and five assists.

Garden pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garden will take on Churchill in a holiday battle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sacred Heart, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cathedral Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
