Ingomar had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They pulled ahead with a 60-59 photo finish over the South Pontotoc Cougars. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 51-45 win the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Ingomar had a senior duo take command as Cooper Ball posted ten points in addition to six steals and five assists and Jo Jo Petty almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Brody Hutchens, who scored 12 points.

Coming up, Ingomar will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Wheeler at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Pontotoc, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Mantachie at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
