Football Recap: Marcus' Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

Marcus might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Lewisville who claimed the real prize. The Marauders fell 33-28 to the Farmers. While losing is never fun, the Marauders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Farmers are ranked 11th).

Despite the loss, Marcus still got an impressive performance from Colton Nussmeier, who threw for 205 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 54 yards. 95 of Nussmeier's passing yards were hauled in by Austin Allen.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lewisville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tenel Hill, who rushed for 126 yards and two scores. Tre Williams also deserves some recognition as he rushed for his first rushing yard of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Marcus fell to 2-1. As for Lewisville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Marcus wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 49-42 defeat against Hebron on the 3rd. As for Lewisville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-0 victory against Braswell on the 3rd.
