Volleyball Recap: Mica Mountain Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Mica Mountain waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Walden Grove Red Wolves as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunderbolts also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Mica Mountain found their leader in sophomore MIA PARKER, who had 26 assists and five digs. CASSIDY DICKHERBER was another key player, getting 11 assists and four digs.

Mica Mountain was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in three consecutive contests.

Mica Mountain's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Walden Grove, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-10.

Coincidentally, Mica Mountain and Walden Grove will both be playing Ironwood Ridge the next time they take the court. The Thunderbolts will host the Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Red Wolves will host them at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th.
