Volleyball Recap: Crest Takes Down Northwest Cabarrus in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Crest walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans on Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-8, 25-16.

Emma Mull paced Crest's offense, picking up eight kills. Mull got some help from Emily Humphries and her 17 assists.

Crest has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-14 record this season. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Crest has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Oak Grove on the 21st. Northwest Cabarrus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
