Basketball Recap: Morrill Lions vs. Kimball Longhorns
After flying high against Gordon-Rushville last Monday, Morrill came back down to earth. The Morrill Lions fell 60-47 to the Kimball Longhorns on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled against the Longhorns recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Morrill's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wyler Fisher, who on his way to 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashwin Pittman, who to rack up 17 points.
