Volleyball Recap: Navarre Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Navarre lost against Pensacola Catholic back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Navarre took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 26-24.

Katelyn Weller paced Navarre's offense, picking up 12 kills. Weller got some help from Isabel Gutierrez and her 12 assists. Weller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Navarre's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Pensacola Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Navarre will face off against Choctawhatchee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pensacola Catholic, they will take on Fort Walton Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
