Volleyball Recap: Navarre Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Navarre lost against Pensacola Catholic back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Navarre was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Pensacola Catholic's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 26-24.

Katelyn Weller paced Navarre's offense, picking up 12 kills. Weller got some help from Isabel Gutierrez and her 12 assists. Weller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Pensacola Catholic can attribute much of their success to Gracelyn Weihenmayer, who had eight digs and six aces. That's the most aces Weihenmayer has posted since back in September.

Navarre's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Pensacola Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Navarre wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Choctawhatchee on the 9th. As for Pensacola Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Fort Walton Beach on the 9th.
