Basketball Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss

Middletown played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Mason Comets and fell 72-26. The Middies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-15.

Mason's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Parrish, who went 6 for 11 en route to 19 points and four steals. Anna Habra was another key player, going 6 of 10 on her way to 14 points.

Middletown's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Mason, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-1.

Middletown will look to defend their home court on Monday against Ursuline Academy at 7:30 p.m. As for Mason, they will head out on the road to square off against Oak Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
