Memorial dropped their record down to 9-8 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 10-0 to the Mineral Ridge Rams. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Red Devils were not able to get on the board.

Memorial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Broz, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

As for Mineral Ridge, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by ten runs or more this season.

On Mineral Ridge's side, Sullivan Sandy was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI Sandy has posted since April 1st. Another player making a difference was Savannah Turek, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

While Memorial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
