Brennan McGowan put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Monday. He struck out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
