Soccer Game Preview: Village Christian vs. Maranatha

Village Christian hasn't had much luck against Maranatha recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Village Christian Crusaders are taking a road trip to challenge the Maranatha Minutemen at 5:30 p.m. Village Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Village Christian and Maranatha finished up their match with a 2-2 draw. The outcome might've been different if Felix Green hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Rafael (Rj) Nunez and Shant Ter-Oganesyan scored both of Village Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Maranatha's draw gives them a new season record of 7-10-4. Meanwhile, Village Christian's record is now 7-5-2.
