Richland was the 2-1 winner over DeSoto when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Royals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Saturday. The Royals' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Adeline Pace paced Richland's offense, picking up five kills. Pace got some help from Reece Jackson and her ten assists. Pace was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
