Basketball Recap: Pilot Point's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Pilot Point came into Monday's contest having lost 34 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Callisburg Wildcats 33-31. This was a revenge game for the Bearcats: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in December of 2024, they had to take a 38-21 loss.

Pilot Point's victory ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-16. As for Callisburg, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-8.

Pilot Point didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 85-20 loss against Ponder on the 14th. As for Callisburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 42-30 defeat against Boyd on the 14th.
