Plymouth suffered their biggest loss since December 21, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Culver Academies Eagles, falling 59-39. The Pilgrims/Rockies' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Culver Academies found their leader in sophomore Jimara Combs, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Combs also set a new season-high mark in steals with four. Another player making a difference was Reid Seddelmeyer, who posted ten points and six assists.

Plymouth's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Culver Academies, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

When Plymouth and Culver Academies next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Plymouth will square off against Northridge and their three-game winning streak at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Culver Academies will try to stop Marquette Catholic's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
