Volleyball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Plainview's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Plainview won the last time they faced Scottsboro and things went their way on Monday too. The Bears came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Plainview not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Scottsboro between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17.

Plainview found their leader in sophomore Jada Gray, who had 11 assists and seven digs.

Plainview has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-11 record this season. As for Scottsboro, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Plainview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Guntersville on the 6th. As for Scottsboro, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Arab at 4:30 p.m.
