That home run was Woodward's first of the season. Another was Deakyn DeHoet, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Mapletown fell victim to West Greene and their airtight pitching crew two weeks ago. They lost 14-0 to the Pioneers.

Jefferson-Morgan's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Mapletown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
