South Point is 9-1 against Portsmouth since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pointers will take on the Trojans in a tournament on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, South Point turned things around against Piketon on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Redstreaks with a sharp 5-1 victory. South Point's winning goal came courtesy of Israel Schneider.

Meanwhile, Portsmouth kept a clean sheet against Zane Trace on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Pioneers. That's two games straight that Portsmouth have won by exactly two goals.

Portsmouth's victory bumped their record up to 11-7-1. As for South Point, their win bumped their record up to 6-11-1.

South Point was able to grind out a solid victory over Portsmouth in their previous meeting back in September, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pointers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
