Forrest Downing Game Report: @ Thomas Jefferson

Summit came out on top against Thomas Jefferson on Thursday thanks in part to Forrest Downing's efforts. Downing scored two runs while going 3-for-4, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Looking ahead, Downing and Summit will venture away from home to square off against Conifer at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Downing has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 3 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Lobos have only allowed 4.5 per game this season.
