Basketball Recap: Columbia Academy Takes a Loss

Columbia Academy suffered their biggest loss since November 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 70-40 defeat at the hands of the Providence Christian Academy LIONS. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the LIONS are ranked fourth).

With the loss, Columbia Academy broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-8. As for Providence Christian Academy, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

As for Providence Christian Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Providence Christian Academy LIONS challenge the Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
