Volleyball Recap: Lydia Hammond and Vivian Miletich Secure Win for Bradley-Bourbonnais

Bradley-Bourbonnais lost to Rock Falls back in September of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Boilermakers came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Boilermakers.

Bradley-Bourbonnais easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-9.

Bradley-Bourbonnais was led to victory by Vivian Miletich and Lydia Hammond. Miletich had five digs and four aces, while Hammond had four digs and two assists. That's the most assists Hammond has posted over her last five matches.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Rock Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Coincidentally, Bradley-Bourbonnais and Rock Falls will both be playing Grayslake North the next time they take the court. The Rockets will head out to face the Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Boilermakers will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
