Football Recap: North Lawndale Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for North Lawndale's offense. They had to suffer through a 55-0 loss at the hands of the Marmion Cadets.

North Lawndale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Marmion, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Lawndale will venture away from home to take on Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will give the Phoenix their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Marmion, they will challenge Saint Viator at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
