Recap: Forge Christian Fury vs. Manual Thunderbolts
The Forge Christian Fury won the last time they faced the Manual Thunderbolts, and things went their way on Thursday too. Forge Christian came out on top against Manual by a score of 48-36. The win made it back-to-back wins for Forge Christian.
Forge Christian was led to victory by Gabriella Geypens and Aleeza Olson. Geypens scored 15 points along with six steals, while Olson scored 14 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Olson continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Finley Queen, who scored ten points.
Forge Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Manual, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forge Christian will take on Jefferson Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Manual, they will be playing at home against Stargate School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Stargate School is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
