Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palatine). They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Glenbrook South Titans on Saturday. The Pirates have beaten the Titans the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Titans has come to flipping the script.

Palatine now has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Glenbrook South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palatine will welcome Barrington at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Fillies/Broncos' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Pirates' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
