Softball Recap: Halifax Comes Up Short

Halifax fell victim to Tri-Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Bulldogs. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Halifax's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Tri-Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Halifax will take on Line Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tri-Valley, they will square off against Marian Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Tri-Valley's pitchers better be ready for this one: Marian Catholic has averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season.
