Maloney strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Simsbury Trojans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Spartans were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Trojans, so the Spartans were just returning the favor.

Maloney walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 25-18.

Wesley Colebrook paced Maloney's offense, picking up 24 kills. Colebrook got some help from Galo Cadena and his 29 assists. Colebrook was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Maloney pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Simsbury, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maloney will host Windsor at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Simsbury, they will welcome Glastonbury at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
