Volleyball Recap: Friday Harbor Takes a Loss

Friday Harbor lost against Orcas Island back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2. While the Wolverines didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 25-20 in the first set.

While Friday Harbor ultimately came up short, they really made Orcas Island work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 26-24, 25-13, 24-26, 15-12.

Friday Harbor now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Orcas Island, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Friday Harbor will face off against rival Concrete at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Orcas Island is set to square off against their familiar foe Darrington at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
