Wilson came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Legacy, but Jason Rodriguez wouldn't allow it. The Tigers strolled past the Mules with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 25-6 for which the team can thank Rodriguez, who rushed for 202 yards and one score. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 118.5 rushing yards per game.

The victory made it two in a row for Legacy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.5 points over those games. As for Wilson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 37-6 loss against Garfield on the 19th. As for Wilson, they have also already played their next contest, a 40-21 defeat against Alhambra on the 19th.
