Everything went their way against the Chickasaw Chieftains as they made off with a 15-0 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by six runs or more this season.
The team relied heavily on Moira Gleeson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI. Emeri Ikner was another key player, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Blacksher was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of 1.000. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chickasaw only posted a batting average of .125.
The win made it two in a row for Blacksher and bumps their season record up to 22-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Chickasaw, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13-1.
